My research interests incude:
 Piracy, Science Fiction, Computing, Labor, 
Ecology, Colonial Anthropology, Forestry, Race, Caste, Indigeneity, Sovereignty, Gender, Decolonization

I wrote about British colonial environmental history in the 1990s, engaged with tactical media in the early 2000s, and sought to decolonize computing in the 2010s.

My work is in conversation with academic research, science and technology policy, social movements, and advocacy groups. 


I've designed curricula linking History, Public Health, Studio Arts, Informatics, Environment, Ethics, and Critical Theory.
